Day 1:

Perth - Busselton Jetty

Yes! It's summer in Perth but I didn't really feel the heat (just the sunshine). The weather wasn't that hot like I imagined. You can see swan river everywhere around you and the sky is astonishing blue! Unfortunately I didn't get to travel to the North (Lancelin and Pinnacles) due to the bad weather raining all day. Well, the journey begins with a perfect breakfast:

Toast, by the water

Toast is literally located by the Swan River, surrounded by houses along the river. What is special about toast is, it has dishes specially designed by Toast itself (which non-other breakfast shop have). I ordered cauliflower & zucchini fritters (with poached eggs, asparagus, tomato and lime salsa). It was a perfect match all together and a good start of the day. The sourness of the citrus salsa, juicy tomatoes and well-cooked fresh poached eggs was undoubtedly refreshening.

Busselton

It took me 3 hours to travel from Perth CBD to Busselton. My family and I stopped by Coles Supermarket for grocery shopping (actually it's just fruits). We checked in to Abbey Beach Resort and continue our journey to Busselton Jetty.

Busselton Jetty, longest wooden jetty in the world

As a reminder for the Jetty Train, the last train departs at 4pm. If you wish to ride on the train on time, probably you should set off earlier :)

Day 2:

Margaret River Farmers Market - Voyager Estate - Margaret River Chocolate Co.

I had a morning walk along the beach beside Abbey Beach Resort and I found stingrays! I didn't get to visit Hamelin Bay but it could be a good destination to search for friendly stingrays.

Margaret River Farmers Market

It's Saturday morning! Farmers had been busy packing up their produces and get ready to sell off them. As the sun rise, people started to arrive with shopping bags and trolleys to crave for the freshest produce from the farmers such as honey, cherries, wine snacks, apples... The best burger was from the karate club, the bacon & egg burger, softbun, soft egg yolk and BBQ sauce. Other cravings would be Yahava Coffee and I Pasticcioni (Claudio Biscotti). Oh! and the watermelon slushies was the best best best watermelon drink I ever had!

Voyager Estate

Flowers blooming attracting bees and butterflies, grapes started to grow and the view was awesome!
Looking for non-alcoholic drinks? Non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice would be your best choice.

Walk at Margaret River Town

Margaret River Chocolate Co.

Best place to buy freshly produced Chocolate.

Dinner in Ciao Italia

One of the best Italia restaurant in Perth and they serve with very large portion! Two is enough for four person to share with. Try out their mussels too!

Day 3:

Fremantle Prison - Fremantle Markets - Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour for Kailis Fish Market Café - Round House - Cottesloe Beach

Fremantle Prison, WA cultural attraction

I've chosen Prison Day Tour (Doing Time) to explore their cells, knowing their daily routine as well as punishments. It was a great learning experience guided by James.

Fremantle Markets

Fremantle Markers is basically divided into two areas, The Yard and The Hall. This was another best place to search for good cravings such as tacos, rolls, donuts and so on. One of the must try food, Levi's Donuts which was freshly made and crispy. Other great cravings would be Good Taroll, Eat Street, The Mousetrap (cheese).

Kailis Fish Market Café

Satisfied fresh seafood are provided here! *slurp* This would be one of the must try seafood place to visit in Perth. You could feel the sea breeze from the harbour and sea gulls around you in search for food.

Round House

Cottesloe Beach

Day 4:

Swan Valley - Caversham Wildlife Park - Bell Tower - Elizabeth Quay

Swan Valley

It's Monday so many of the shop were closed (Plus it was raining so heavily!) So I didn't actually get to visit many shops.

Caversham Wildlife Park

A really worth visiting wildlife park as I get to see rare species of animals such as barking owls, wombat which I don't usually see these in Zoos. OH! Don't miss out the chance to watch the shows!

Elizabeth Quay

It's Chinese New Year and they have events for the CNY (Asian Street Food Carnival) But unfortunately it was canceled on the day I visit due to the raining weather.

Day 5:

Perth City Tour (Shopping at Hay Street Mall+ London Court and Murray Street Mall, Watertown Brands Outlet) Kings Park

Breakfast at East Village
